The best bottle opener in the world , also includes an awesome axe, saw and shovel packed nicely into a travel bag!
The Adventure Mate V3 multitool proved surprisingly effective for an unexpected task—removing stubborn, dried-out weeds from hard-packed clay soil. Even though gardening wasn’t its intended main purpose, and I only had a few basic tools on hand, it handled the job with impressive ease.
I was able to dig deep into the tough clay and pull out the roots with very little effort on my part. The tool felt comfortable in my hand, and stepping on it with my foot allowed me to apply the right amount of pressure without straining.
Overall, the Adventure Mate V3 truly lived up to its name as a versatile multitool. It performed well beyond expectations in challenging conditions, making tough outdoor work much more manageable. I’m already waiting for my next adventure and can’t wait to try out the additional hacksaw, hammer, and axe features. Highly recommended for anyone needing a reliable, multi-purpose tool.
The AM-V3 is must have tool as for Disaster Preparedness as for every weekend camping enthusiast. It’s a sturdy and versatile tool for nearly every occasion. And it looks damm good!
I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but when I opened the package, I was immediately impressed. The design is very thoughtful and the build quality is top-notch. I played around with it and haven't found a flaw yet...and I always find flaws in products. The true test will be out in the wilderness, so I'm excited for my next trip.
Build like a tank and a really clever design. Just got back from a 500 mile moto camping trip and the bag held up well strapped to the bike the whole way. Used the saw for firewood and the hammer and stake puller for my tent stakes and it worked great. Also took it on the Chattahoochee BDRx a couple weeks ago. Didn’t end up using it on that trip, but having an axe, saw, and hammer in my bag was a comfort. Love the locking mechanism and overall attention to detail. Definitely worth the wait.
So far I have used this tool out in the wild twice and I have really been enjoying it. One time it was for recovery use trying to get to a friends property in VT. We needed to get over a 4 foot high snowbank. Ultimately I got stuck and the entrenching setup was so helpful. It was much easier to pull the snow from behind the tires to clear space for the max trax. Eventually we camped at the snowbank and the axe was great for splitting up kindling.
Another time it was super helpful for trail clearing. We had a big snowstorm come through and take down a ton of trees. One was cracked across the trail. I used the axe to finish of the broken part and the saw to cut the top of the felled part and it was really easy to move.
Now down to the details. I really liked how quickly and easily I can go from axe to saw. Any trips saved from going back and forth to the truck is time saved. The axe head has a good weight to it. I was worried about it moving up and down/jiggling but the cam lock mechanism keeps it nice and tight. I love the green locked indicator too. I am getting some surface rust on the axe head so I am not sure if I need to keep it lightly oiled or what. Overall I am super happy with it, I think the only thing I wish was for a slightly longer handle. I know that would affect it's compact size but maybe if a larger version could be added in the future it would be sweet.
This seems to be a pretty good tool. I love the compact case, but what in the heck do you do with those rings (two at the top and two at the bottom) on the back of the storage back. Be warned, however, that this is a HEAVY tool. This is great, in that it does let gravity help you, when using the hatched on the downswing. But, that comes at the cost of exertion, as well. Wear PPE - GLASSES (WEAR THEM!!!), GLOVES (I tried to cheat this one - and I may end up with a blister, as a result - I have a bit of a rash - that's a "me" problem, though), and heavy pants and boots. Also, have ready access to a first aid kit. (PSA over).
Remember, this is not a professional tool. This is an "Adventure" or "survival" tool. Don't expect the results of a professional woodsman's tool. Don't get me wrong... The Adventure Mate V3 does get the job done.
I was able to use my new AMv3 to fell a forked trunk from an Eastern Redbud that my battery-powered chainsaw just couldn't see through on a single charge. In defense of the chainsaw, this trunk was very dense, and heavily knotted. It took me quite some time, and a pretty hefty number of swings... I eventually unlocked the axe-head, flipped it over to expose the saw, and cut the rest of the way through the trunk. I found the saw blade to be a bit flimsy and "bendy," doing most of the cutting on the pull. Again, the key, here, is to keep in mind that this is an "Adventure" or emergency, or "survival" tool. The AMv3 felt a little "shaky" on the inside of the shaft, as I was hefting the hatchet, and at one point, as I was swinging the hatchet, the safety button on the grip came up, releasing the locking lever. WATCH THAT SAFETY BUTTON - CHECK IT AFTER/BEFORE EACH SWING, AND MAINTAIN A SAFE "AXE YARD."
I bought the AMv3 via KickStarter, and paid for the extra saw blades and ferro rod. It was difficult to put the extra saw blades in the sleeve in the carrying case. They also came with two tiny replacement screws... Hope I don't need to use them (or, if I do, that I have tiny screwdriver handy, when I do!). While I figured the little netted pouch under the shovel head was a handy place to store either the ferro rod canister, or the screws, I'm betting that the screws are going to go MIA, relatively shortly.
All-in-all, as a former BSA Scoutmaster, I find this tool to be pretty good, and very useful, though I wouldn't want to always carry it with me.
The tool is impressively well‑made — solid, precise, and surprisingly satisfying to use. It feels like you’re cycling through gear on a well‑crafted weapon, in the best possible way. That mechanical crisp.
a lot of thought went into the ergonomics and engineering. I’m already excited for camping season just so I can put it through some real outdoor tasks. And once I finally get the green light to take down that old tree in my backyard, this thing is absolutely getting its moment
Overall, it’s a tool that feels great in the hand, sounds great in use, and makes you want to find excuses to use it more
hola estoy muy feliz con este producto todo es excelente, la funda, la organización los materiales lo practico de utilizar y lo versátil de tantas herramientas en un solo ki
One of my best purchases ever due to it’s simplicity, durability and versatility. In today’s use, it helped me get unstuck with my ATV. I used the hook to get a better leverage when pulling out my frozen winch. The shovel and entrenching tool came in clutch to remove snow around and under the ATV. The Hammer was used to take the point of a stump so I wouldn’t run a flat. The bag has a brilliant solution to keeping everything in place safe and sound, even if you were to drive off without closing it. The bag also offers a lot of ways to strap it down. the only thing a have to mention is that one of the two i bought does have a tiny, tiny wiggle when in shovel and entrenching mode, which the other one does not. It’s no issue at all, and i only noticed because i have two. And with that being said, i could not be happier and I can’t recommend it enough!
Terrific combination tool that doesn’t skimp out on quality with each of the three functions (axe, saw and shovel). The switching between the tools is very intuitive, I didn’t even have to consult the instructions as everything was well designed.
Each tool feels sturdy and locks safely in place, with very tight tolerances.
The handle is ergonomic and comfortable. Balance is very good and with the axe the weight feels great, allowing for a nice swinging action.
Overall, very happy with the purchase. A great three in one with no compromises.
This is the perfect size for our RV. Packed in the perfect travel case. Made small but heavy duty. One bag three tools. A must have item for RVs.
I would absolutely buy it again and have already recommended the AM-V3 Multitool to my friends. Lightweight, durable, and complete with convenient d-rings and webbing on the travel pack for securing it to my motorcycle, it is a welcome companion while out motorcycle camping and has become my go-to tool on the home front too!
Phenomenal tool! Feels well made and professional. Design feels strong, tight, and compact. Great camping accessory!
The Adventure Mate AM-V3 is an incredibly durable and versatile tool. It does everything I need to get the campfire blazing! With multiple tools combined into one solid tool, it has freed up tons of space on my overland rig. Saw, chop, and dig... Let's go! Thanks Adventure Mate!!!
Amazing camp tool! I need another couple for family members as well. Everything you need for camping!
